Discovery Session
CHAPTER ONE
The Discovery Session is where your story begins to take shape. Scheduled separately from the interview, this relaxed conversation gives us time to understand the memories, relationships, and moments that matter most to you before filming begins. We'll explore your life, discuss the people and experiences that have shaped your journey, and identify the stories you want future generations to remember. Family members are encouraged to join, as they often help uncover meaningful memories and perspectives. Using everything we learn, we create a personalized set of interview questions designed to guide a natural, authentic conversation, not a scripted one. This thoughtful preparation is what transforms your final film from a simple recording into a cohesive, meaningful legacy. Please note: The Discovery Session is included only with The Evermore Collection. The DIY Edit and Zoom Interview packages do not include this step.

The Interview
CHAPTER TWO
The Interview Phase is where your story is captured in your own voice. This is a guided, conversational experience designed to feel natural, comfortable, and unhurried. Using the personalized questions developed during the Discovery session, we lead you through your story in a way that allows memories to surface organically. There is no pressure to perform or “get it right.” The goal is simply to create a space where you can speak freely, reflect, and share your experiences as they come to mind. We use professional audio and video equipment to ensure your voice, expressions, and personality are captured clearly and beautifully. The environment is kept calm and intentional so you can focus entirely on the conversation. Family members are welcome to be present if desired, as their presence can bring out additional memories and add depth to the experience. This phase is not about creating a perfect recording, it’s about capturing something real. The authenticity of this conversation is what gives the final film its emotional depth and lasting value.

CHAPTER THREE
Editing
The Editing Phase is where your story is brought to life. After the interview is complete, we begin shaping your story into a cinematic legacy film. This process goes far beyond simply cutting clips together. We carefully review the full interview to identify the most meaningful moments, emotional highlights, and natural story arcs. Your photos and home videos are then thoughtfully integrated to visually support the story as it unfolds. Each element is placed with intention, reinforcing memories, adding context, and deepening the emotional impact. We refine pacing, enhance audio, color grade the footage, and incorporate music that complements the tone of the story. Every detail is considered to ensure the final film feels natural, engaging, and timeless. The result is more than a video, it is a carefully crafted film that preserves not just what happened, but how it felt.

Forever Preserved
CHAPTER FOUR
Once your legacy film is complete, it will be delivered digitally through a private download link, allowing you to save a full-resolution copy for safekeeping. You'll also receive a private YouTube link that is unlisted, meaning only people you choose to share it with can view it. This makes it easy to watch on any device, share with family and friends, and preserve your story for generations to come.
